Daniel Anthony Stice, 59, of Keokuk, passed away early Wednesday morning on May 10, 2017, at his home.
Daniel was born January 26, 1958, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of John, Jr. and Evelyn Rose Strice.
Daniel lived most of his life in Keokuk. He worked for himself as an artist. He served in the Army. He enjoyed writing, reading books and sci fi movies. Daniel enjoyed spending time with is grandchildren. He referred to himself as "Dr. Dan".
Daniel is survived by his three children Cassandra (John) Bowden, Alyssia (Sam Wiggins) Stice and Cedric (Carrie) Stice all of Keokuk, Iowa; nine grandchildren: Jesse Stice, Angela Bowden, Frankie Bowden, Ashley Wiggins, Joseph Stice, Anastasia McNeill, Jackson Wiggins, Emma Rhodes and Ruth Stice; two sisters: Sharon (Eric) Borgwardt and Judy Thompson; three brothers: Richard Stice, Tim Stice and David (Cim) Stice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 15, 2017, at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers at 917 Blondeau Street in Keokuk, officiating Pastor Ray Gilbert. Burial will follow at with full military rites at ...[more]
