Pamela Huisman
LODI- Pamela S. Huismann, age 66, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Maplewood nursing home of Sauk Prairie. She was born on April, 27, 1951 in Black River Falls, WI. Daughter of Chuck and Verna (Rockney) Scherer. Pamela graduated high school from Germantown, WI in 1969. She also received a degree at the St. Michaels of Radiology in Milwaukee, WI in 1971. She married Larry Huismann on November 4, 1972 in Menomonee Falls, WI. Pamela worked as a mammographer and a CT tech at Dean Clinic in Sun Prairie, WI for 28 years. Pamela was a Special Olympics gymnastics coach, Board member for the condo association, brownie and girl scout leader, former member of Gigi's Play House. Pamela enjoyed being a grandma to 7 grandchildren, spending time in Hatfield, WI, sewing, gardening and traveling.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry; daughters, Heather Huismann, Melissa (Shaun) Hughes, and Erin (Brad) Foster; 7 grandchildren; brother, Scott (Debbie) Scherer; sisters, Janel (Jeff) Minick, Shelly (Al) Scherer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Chuck Scherer.

Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 5pm-7pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 6924 Lake Rd, DeForest. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday May, 17, 2017, at 11am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 521 Fair St., Lodi, with viewings from 10am until the time of Mass at the church. A burial service will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Hatfield, WI at the Hatfield Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Our House, Maplewood Nursing Home and Agrace Hospice for their care of Pamela.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice or Alzheimer's Association of Wisconsin.
