nch to follow in Olfen at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Georgia Ann was born September 19, 1938 at home to Charles and Ela Halfmann. She was the youngest of five children which included two brothers, Earl Halfmann and wife Mary Ann, David Halfmann and wife Shirley, and two sisters, Flora Wellberg and husband Frank, and Elvie Ahlert and husband Denny. Georgie Ann was raised by her loving family on their farm in Olfen where she also attended the Catholic School until the age of thirteen. Due to her father's illness, the family moved to San Angelo and she graduated from San Angelo High School in 1956. Georgie Ann married the love her life, Albert Meeks on September 13, 1958. Georgie and Albert traveled the world raising five children, four boys each one year apart in age and one girl. The moved from one Air Force base to another growing their family and making sweet memories along the way. Paul was born in Wichita Falls, TX; Mark was born in Albuquerque, NM; Chris and John Al where born in Oklahoma City, OK; and Elaine was born in Belgium, France. In 1970 the family settled in Paint Rock, Texas. Her final move was to San Angelo in 1980. Through her traveling adventures, Georgie Ann enriched her family with love and laughter. After raising her children, Georgie graduated from American Commercial College with a degree in Accounting and Automation and then worked for San Angelo National Bank for 18 years. Her retirement years were spent making quilts for her grandchildren, and serving the Lord by being a Eucharist Minister and volunteering at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Georgie always worshiped our Heavenly Father and passed her passion for Christ to everyone especially her children and grand-children. Georgie Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert, and sister Elvie. Survivors include her sons, Paul Jr. and wife Tracey, Mark and wife Sherry, Chris and wife Karen, John Al and wife Kim, and daughter, Elaine. Also Surviving are 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Chad, Colby, Ryan, and Trey Meeks, John Ahlert and Johnny Beach will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to express a special thanks to Comfort Keepers, Maria Guadarrama, Hospice of San Angelo, Debbie Bishop and Shirley Jones. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or a favorite Charity. "Rest in peace, Mom. We love you!"
