d grandsons were the light of his life. He was a man of Christian faith and strong will, who was competitive and proud of his accomplishments. John worked many years in construction before earning his Associates and becoming an electronics technician. John was extremely outgoing and never met a stranger. He was a very humorous person who loved to laugh. John enjoyed spending time with those he loved: playing board games, darts, and sports with family and friends. John also enjoyed riding his motorcycle whenever possible, and never went a day without listening to his classic rock music collection.
Survivors include his wife, Ginger Liles; daughters, Kristen Paige Tomblin, Kimberly Sue Liles, and Kayla Diane Liles; son-in-law, Gary Lynn Tomblin, II; grandsons, Gary Lynn Tomblin, III, and Mason Scott Tomblin; mother, Mary Lynn Gonzales Liles; father, Jerald Dell Liles and his wife, Cary Liles; sister, Linda Ann Mack and her husband, Ron Mack; nephews, Chase Mack and Colton Mack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Johnson's Funeral Chapel.
