Felix M. Lo

Felix Lo, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in North Miami Beach surrounded by his loved ones. Felix was born in Hong Kong on June 17, 1940, received his Master's at the University of Washington, and eventually made his way to South Florida in 1972 where he guided Chinese cuisine to new heights during his decades in the restaurant business. Known as Chef, Boss, Friend, Dad, and Grandpa, Felix held numerous titles during his time on Earth, but he was best known for his selfless giving, his devout Christian faith, his mischievous humor, his unyielding conviction to his morals, and his infinite love for his two children and his many pets. As a pioneer of Chinese culture in South Florida, he has left an indelible legacy on the local Chinese community as well as on the citizens of South Florida whose tongues will never forget his many restaurants.
