Mr. Bowen H. Durham, 83, of North Vernon, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017, under the caring staff of the Heritage House in Greensburg.
He was born January 7, 1934, in Seymour, to Helen Durham.
He married Bonnie Russell on February 9, 1957 in Seymour and she survives.
Bowen served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW and Eagles both of Seymour. He retired from Dorel Juvenile Group, (Cosco).
He is survived by his wife, son; Richard L. "Dick" (Karen) Durham and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, 2 sisters; Gladys Engelking and Frances O'Sullivan and
6 brothers; Howard, Thomas, Clarence, Wentiford, Frank and Ralph Durham.
Family and friends may gather at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, May 25th after 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Brien Stout, officiating.
The VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Korean and Vietnam Veteran will have a flag presentation with TAPS to follow on Thursday following the service.
Burial will follow at the Veterans Military Cemetery in Madison at a later date.
