Catherine A. Luczkowski, (nee Vucic) age 90, of Sheffield Village passed away peacefully following a short illness on Friday April 28, 2017.
Catherine was born July 16, 1926 in Lorain, graduated from Lorain High School as a member of the Class of 1944-B and moved to Sheffield Village in 1949. She retired from the Kmart Corporation in Lorain. Catherine was an active and longtime parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church where she was a past member of the Ladies Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a talented cook, baker and gardener.
She is survived by her daughter Jean (Steve) of Dublin, sons Jim Allen (Mary Jane) of Spencer, and Don (Kim) of Lagrange, grandchildren Kari, Kim, Gabe, Jennifer and Brian, along with great-granddaughters Audrey, Clare and Colette. She also leaves her sister Karol (Dick) Teaman of Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Chester, parents Steve and Mary ( nee Pecaric) Vucic, brother Drago Vucic and sister Vera Vucic.
