ling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten. Later in her life, she was a stay at home grandmother and took part in her grandchildren's lives that needed her. She had 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grand Child on the way. Her home was open to all her (little chicks) as she called us. Our mother's favorite place in the home was the kitchen and all of our childhood friends knew they had an open invitation to the table. She would say "come on in and grab a plate". She was a grandma to all our friends. We will miss her every day! A neighborhood child, now a grown man tells the story of when he was seven years old... His mother told him to go tell his grandma Happy Birthday. He gets on his bike, knocks on our mother's door and says, "Happy Birthday, Grandma". Our mother said, " It's not my birthday today". He replied with "It is cause my mom told me it's your birthday and YOU are my grandma". Josephine is predeceased by her husband, Jose Lopez. She was also predeceased by her sons, Joe Lopez, Jr. and Jimmy Lopez, her daughter, Judy Friedel and her siblings, Emily Deary Valerio and George Deary. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from too many people to name individually, but including: Hospice - the amazing Vitas Team, family, and friends - either through prayer and/or visits. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gardens Baptist Church, 3210 Southwest 59th Terrace, West Park, FL 33023.
