Howard Berry

Howard Berry, age 89 died peacefully on May 26, 2017 in Seattle, Washington. Howard was born April 3, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Albert and Margie Berry. In 1946, Howard married the love of his life, Arletha Ward. In 1954 Howard, Arletha and their children moved to Seattle, later adding three more children to the family. Howard served in the U.S. Navy, and retired after 28 years of service. Howard is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Arletha Berry; daughters, Audrey, Charlene and Michelle (Richard); sons, Howard Jr., Reginald (Sharon), Fred (Brenda) of Modesto, CA, David (Gina) and Albert (Leatrice); fifteen grandchildren, Portia, Gina (Elias), Sacha (Sherman), Amica (deceased), Leondis, Daniel, Jereme, Michelle, Tashiona(Charles), Phillip, Sasha, Amanda, Achijah, Myeshia, and Natalie, Yolanda, Mary and Reginald; twenty great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Mildred Hall and Carrie Berry; and dear friend Louise Davis, and a number of other relatives and close friends.
