Lorain - Yolanda A. (DeLuciano) DeTillio, age 94, of Lorain, died Thursday afternoon, June 1, 2017, at her residence, following at brief illness.
She was born October 7, 1922, in Uledi, PA, and moved to Lorain when she was three years old. Yolanda graduated from Lorain High School in 1941, and was a member of St. Peter Church, Lorain. She worked for General Industries during World War II and loved reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons Frank (Rosa) DeTillio and Joseph (Sharon) DeTillio; and many nieces and nephews.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her husband, Frank DeTillio; parents Vincenzo and Pauline (Leone) DiLuciano; sisters Ann Broglio and Marie Mitchell.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM Monday, June 5, 2017, at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2150 Broadway Ave., Lorain, 440-244-1961, where closing prayer services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at 10:20 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday June 6, 2017 at St. Peter Church, Lorain. Fr. William Thaden will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
