She was a life member of Iowa State Education Association. Past Matron and 50 year member of Electa Chapter #32, Order of the Eastern Star, in Muscatine. A 50 year member of Pyramid Temple #10, Daughters of the Nile, in Davenport. She was a Life Member of Trinity Hospital Auxiliary in Muscatine. Margaret was a 63 plus member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Muscatine and member of Ruth Circle at the church. She was a former member of the violin section of the early Tri-City Symphony in Davenport, University of Colorado at Boulder Symphony, Cedar Falls-Waterloo Symphony, and the Drake-Des Moines Symphony. Those left to honor her memory include her son, Reverend Dr. Carl E. Klein and wife Sharon, of Spirit Lake; one grandson, Dr. Andrew G. Klein, of College Station, Texas; one granddaughter, Melissa A. Klein and her husband Louis J. Venezia, of New York, New York; one half-sister, Bonnie Jean Hines and her husband Richard Elefson, of Bismarck, North Dakota; nephews, and families. Charles F. Bohling Jr., of Riverside, California, Paul Sharpley II, of Wisconsin, the family of Susan Nagel, and Richard Elefson Jr., of Bismarck, North Dakota; three Weber step-daughters and their families, Virginia Lanfier and her husband Eugene, of Cedar Falls, Ruth Jessup and her husband John, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, Roberta Chant and her husband Byron, of Davenport; Close friends Bill, Kathy and Todd Reinsager and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one son at birth, Charles Herbert Weber; step-father, William M. Hines; one sister, Cameon and her husband, Paul Sharpley; one brother, Lt. Col. Charles F. Bohling (USAF retired); and a niece, Susan Nagel.
