to cook and always had a meal and dessert ready to serve to her arriving guests. For many years she hosted Christmas and prepared a feast for her large family. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's baptisms, first communions, school graduations and weddings. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include eight children: Hubert (Melissia) Greiner of Keota, Janice (Ray) Doud of Schaumburg, Illinois, Eugene (Karen) Greiner of Harper, Leon (Toni) Greiner of Keota, Linda (Terry) Powers of Ottumwa, Joyce (Charles) Dayton of Marion, Marlene Greiner of Maryland Heights, Missouri and Marion (Lisa) Greiner of Indian Trail, North Carolina; son-in-law: Don Rowland of Ottumwa; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1971; daughter: Diana Rowland and two brothers: Kenneth Clarahan and Elmer Clarahan in infancy. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries - Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Clear Creek Township. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Powell Funeral Home, where there will be an altar and rosary society rosary at 3:30 p.m. and a wake service following.
