Kevin Lee Grimm

North Liberty- Kevin "Babe" Lee Grimm Jr., age 45 of North Liberty and formerly of Millersburg, died on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Davenport, Iowa. Kevin was born December 29, 1970 in Grinnell, Iowa, the son of Kevin Lee and Diane Sue (Motz) Grimm. He grew up in Millersburg and graduated from Deep River Millersburg High School in 1989 and went on to attend Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. Over the years Kevin worked for and managed many restaurants and bars in the Iowa City area, including Wildwood Saloon and Pop's Old 'N' New Bar-B-Que. Kevin enjoyed golfing, farming, the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Cubs, the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his niece and nephews like they were his own. Kevin was always smiling and he never met somebody he didn't talk to. If somebody needed a helping hand, he was there. Celebration of Life Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Victor. Fr. Corey Close will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bernard's Cemetery, rural Millersburg. A lunch will be served at the HLV School following the graveside service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 23, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Victor. In lieu of flowers a general memorial has been established.
