Janie Pena and Julio Pena, her beloved daughter Diana Medrano Lucio; and, her grandson Matthew Medrano, may they all rest in peace.
Victoria loved and enjoyed life to the fullest, capturing people's heart with her unconditional love and devotion to helping others with a smile. She is survived by her children in chronological order, Jose Medrano, Isidro Medrano Jr, Dahlia Medrano Ballard, Olga Medrano Noriega, Hortencia Medrano Nieto, Paula Medrano, Janie Medrano Cardosa, Pedro Medrano, Victor Medrano, and Ricardo Medrano. She is also survived by her siblings Luis Pena, Pedro Pena, Gabriel Pena, Virginia Alaniz and Bertha Pena. In addition, she is survived by 33 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will begin at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home in Weslaco on Monday June 26, 2017 beginning with the public visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; a memorial service from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a rosary from 7:00 to 8:00p.m., with doors closing at 9:00 p.m. A mass will be held at St Joan of Arc in Weslaco on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at the Weslaco Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.
