E5/GM2 Noe Hernandez passed away on June 17, 2017 in Japan. He was a 2009 Weslaco High School Graduate and a member of the JROTC. He proudly served his country 8 years in the United States Navy. Noe was extremely proud to have been attached to the USS Fitzgerald DDG 62. He will be missed by those who knew him. Noe is survived by his wife Dora L. Hernandez and their 2 year old son, Leon E. Hernandez. His mother Virginia Yolanda Hernandez Lozano from Weslaco, Texas, his brother Jorge Hernandez and sister Mireya H. Alvarez whom both live in Las Vegas, NV. Noe is survived by his wife Dora L. Hernandez and their 2 year old son, Leon E. Hernandez. His mother Virginia Yolanda Hernandez Lozano from Weslaco, Texas, his brother Jorge Hernandez and sister Mireya H. Alvarez whom both live in Las Vegas, NV. His aunt Rosa Guzman whom helped raise Noe, from Weslaco, Texas. And his father Jose Hernandez who lives in Alamo, Texas.
A Public Visitation will take place on Wednesday July 5th, 2017 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco, Texas, starting at 4:00pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. On Thursday July 6th, 2017 a Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes, Texas at 10:00 am and Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
On Behalf of Noe Hernandez's Family we would like to extend their sincere gratitude to The US Navy and all the Law Enforcement agencies, Veterans organizations as well as the City of Weslaco and surrounding Communities who have reached out in support of the family. To all those who have extended prayers and words of comfort in this difficult time, we are truly grateful. Funeral arrangements are under the Direction of Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home in Weslaco, Texas.
