Lula M Johnson

Lula M. Johnson, age 88, passed away July 3, 2017 peacefully in her sleep. She was born to the late Shelby and Idell Murphy on September 18, 1928 in Manchester, Kentucky. Lula enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church as well as the local VFW. Lula was preceded in death by her husband of over 66 years, John Johnson; grandson Jason Michael Lawrence; great grandson Brayden William Lawrence; sister; brother and parents. She is survived by her daughter Sue (Ken) Lawrence; son Marv (Mary) Johnson; four grandchildren, Tasha, Bill, Jacob, Kelsey; three great grandchildren, Darian, Sophie, Abram; sisters Jean Murphy and Faye Azbill. A memorial gathering will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church 115 N. 6th Street Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 9am-9:30am with a service to follow at 9:30am. Inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church in honor of Lula. [more]
