Dennis "Denny" Dean Cronk

Dennis 'Denny' Cronk, 65 of Toledo, Iowa passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:30 pm at the United Presbyterian Church in State Center, Iowa with Pastor Keith McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at the Melbourne Cemetery in Melbourne, Iowa. Dennis Dean Cronk, was born on July 7 in 1950, son of Dean and Betty Cronk of State Center, Iowa. Denny attended elementary and high school at West Marshall. Denny worked at Scharnweber's Water Conditioning for many years, and enjoyed working with his hands. He was married to Marlys Simpson and the couple had Denny's first son, Paul, in 1969. Denny later married Mary Jo (Cummings) Cronk and they had two children, Angela in 1972 and Jason in 1973. Denny was an avid tinkerer and shade-tree mechanic, and frequently helped friends and family with numerous projects where he could utilize his skills. He loved music and had a large collection of classic rock and roll and country music albums.
