Donna Mae Burish

Donna Mae Burish (née Willkom), age 89, passed away on July 6, 2017, at her residence. Donna was born in Boyd, Wisconsin on August 13, 1927, the daughter of the late Roman and Hedwig (Seidl) Willkom. Donna married Bennie C. Burish on July 8, 1948. They later moved to Peshtigo, Wisconsin, where they spent many happy years. Donna was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Ben enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with their family - Donna was always ready to calm a fussy baby and had a seemingly endless supply of treats for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an avid bridge player and enjoyed water aerobics with her friends at the YMCA. Donna was preceded in death by Ben and by her siblings William Willkom, Duane Willkom, and Colleen Schmitz. She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Kathy) Willkom, and children: Thomas (Pamela) Burish, Mark (Helen) Burish, and Mary (Thomas) Komp. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mark (Eunice) Burish, Kathryn (Heath) Tarbert, Brent (Kathryn) Burish, Adam Burish, Nikki Burish, and Jordan (Angela) Komp.
