Julie E. (Kandl) Tullis, age 69, of Greeley passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on July 18, 2017.

Julie was born February 13. 1948, in Easton, PA, to Frank and Grace (Lieberman) Kandl.

She was a graduate of Easton High School in 1966 and the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1969.

In 1971, she joined the United States Air Force as a 2nd lieutenant and was first stationed at Biloxi Medical Center. After being transferred to Laredo Air Base, she met Gene Edward Tullis. They were married March 23, 1973 in Bethlehem, PA. With discharge from the Air Force, their lives together took them to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Colorado during Gene's education, training, and practice. She was an avid fan of both the Colorado Avalanche and Green Bay Packers (as one of that teams shareholders).

Julie is survived by her husband - Dr. Gene Tullis; 4 children - Michael Andrew, Laura Catherine, Matthew Thomas, and Sarah Elizabeth (Alec Stumbaugh); three grandchildren - Tyler Andrew (Michael), Elizabeth Ann (Michael), and Olivia Paige (Sarah); and two brothers- Frank and Joseph Kandl. Their home is also shared with Julie's mother-in-law -Agnes (Kamasky) Tullis and Julie's cat Elliot.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant twin grandsons Will and Jack (Michael).

A Celebration of life will be held by her family.
