put her domestic talents to good use nurturing her family, but she also served others with the Dubuque Community Schools for 21 years, and even devoted another 8 years to Luther Manor before finally retiring. Ruth was a truly a faith filled woman and was quite content and fulfilled to be a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church. In her spare time, Ruth enjoyed a little "retail therapy", watching her favorite TV programs, and keeping up with the instant buzz about the community by listening to her scanner. Ruth's greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who undeniably meant the world to her. Ruth's departure from our immediate lives was more sudden than we were prepared for, but we are absolutely blessed with the memories, lessons and love she leaves behind and we are thankful that she is, once again, holding hands with her beloved Frank.
