the Chef's Inn in Ames where she worked for many years, she retired from Iowa State University's Food Service in 1995. In her younger years she ran a daycare out of her home, and she always enjoyed having little ones around.
Anna never met a craft she didn't like, she would often be found sewing, or embroidering. She also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking cookies to give to people, or preparing a meal for her family. She was a sports fan, with ISU and the Chicago Cubs at the top of her favorites, she loved watching baseball, basketball and golf. She had a love of animals and was fond of her grand pups. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her soft heart, beaming personality and flavor of her jokes.

(Lin) Sweeney of Ames, IA, William Sweeney of Toms Brook, VA, Susan Sweeney of Davenport, IA, Sara (Steven) Arrasmith of Columbia, MD, 7 Grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, sisters; Betty (Ken) Kaltenbach of Beresford, SD, Donna (Jerry) Steckler of Yankton, SD, Jenita Baltzer of Sioux Falls, SD, Patricia (Marv) Kuchta of Ashton, NE, brother; Eugene Perk of Yankton, SD, brother-in-law; Ralph Kleinschmit of Yankton, SD.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband; Dennis E. Sweeney, sisters; Mary Lou Goeden, Clara Kleinschmit, and Bernella Simmons, brothers; Lucian (Bud) Perk, and Bobby Perk (infant).
