Vickie Kathleen Breshears Morriss was born on January 1, 1948 to Wayne Melvin Breshears and Nina Blanche Packer of Emmet, Idaho. She is the eldest of six children. Kathy attended and graduated high school in Emmet. She was married for time and all eternity to Lawrence LeRoy Morriss on June 30, 1967 at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple and just recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Kathy and Larry have five children. Tracey Morriss (adopted), Colleen Wittler (adopted), Brad (Rose) Morriss, Sara (Jonathan) Foote and Bethany (Matthew) Yule.
Kathy is survived by husband (Larry) and three of her five siblings, Christy (Andy) Little of Emmett ID, Wynne (Cindy) Breshears of Meridian, ID and Wayne (Jeri) Breshears of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers David Breshears and Dana Breshears.

Penelope (4) Sela (4), Shelby (4), Gwendolyn (3), Myra (18 months) and Weston (1 month). She also has a great-granddaughter, Lyla (2 ½) and expecting a second great-granddaughter in September.
Although very passionate about so many things her deepest passion was always her family and her church. She loved scrapbooking and crafting of any kind and was extremely talented in expressing her creativity. She also loved traveling, whether it be a cruise to Alaska or a road trip to Idaho or California to visit family she was always ready for adventure.
Kathy will be remembered as a wonderful and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother and friend.
