Santiago V. Herrera, age 76, of Muskegon, MI, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at home. Santiago was born May 1, 1941 to the late Adolph V. and Estefana (Vasquez) Herrera in Poteet, TX. He worked at CWC (Campbell, Wyant & Cannon) Foundry in Muskegon for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Santiago is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Carmelitta (Miguel) Liceaga of West Olive; sons, Raymond (Linda) of Muskegon, Carlos (Mary) of Poteet, TX and Santiago Herrera Jr of Muskegon; 15 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Roger V. Herrera, Robert Herrera, Carmen Lambaria, Angelina Lejia and Juanita (Jake) Guerra all from Poteet, TX; and his former wife, Georgia Rodriguez of Muskegon. Santiago was preceded in death by his sister, Lidia Casanova and brother, Adolph V. Herrera. A Celebration of Life for Santiago will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Rev. William Langlois. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at Klaassen Family Funeral Home.
