Robert P Malone

Robert P. Malone of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away unexpectedly on 08/10/17 at the age of 54. Born in Philadelphia, PA on 10/30/1962. Robert is the beloved son of Frank and Abby (Heffley) Malone. He earned the Eagle Scout awarded - Scouting's highest rank advancement at the age of 14, being the 50th Eagle Scout for Troop 72. He graduated from Abington High School in 1980 and then worked in the prosthetic/orthotic field for many years. He is survived by his son Patrick Malone and his stepchildren Brian and Jessie Payne. A proud and beloved grandfather of Abilyn Malone, Evan, and Eli Payne. He is also survived by his brother Rick Malone (Nancy) and his sisters Kathy Kircher (Jeff) and Marie Blair (Mike). He is predeceased by his brothers Francis (Margaret) and Michael (Sue) Malone. He is remembered with great affection by his six nephews, Michael, Christopher, Sean, Colin, Matthew and Ryan. Family always came first for Bob and he loved the time he spent with them especially going on fishing trips and building model cars. He will be missed dearly.
