Bobby Ray Tidwell

Bobby Ray Tidwell, 62, of Haleyville, entered into rest on August 13, 2017 at Russellville Hospital.Mr. Tidwell was born on May 17, 1955, in Haleyville, Alabama. Bobby was a graduate from Haleyville High School. He was of the Baptist faith. Bobby was a janitor for Haleyville City School for many years and later worked at the jail for the City of Haleyville. He enjoyed helping the elderly their clean yards, garages, hauling things off for them, and collecting lighthouses. Bobby loved spending time with his sisters, and would stay with his sister, Joyce in Mississippi every opportunity he could.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 12pm-1pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 1pm. Brother Randy Jones and Brother Jonathon Hodge will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.Bobby is survived by his sisters, Melba Joyce Hodge and her husband John, Mary B. Evans and her late husband Rodney, Angie D.
