Doris "Dee" Reasoner, 76, of Rio Vista, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes.

was a graduate of Weatherford High School and received an Associate's Degree from Tarrant County Community College. Dee married Leon Reasoner on September 22, 1973 in Weatherford. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had a passion for fishing, golf, swimming, bird watching, and loved and collected Hummingbirds. Dee was a wonderful hostess and spent much of her free time gathering with friends and entertaining friends and family. She was self-employed as the owner and operator of Dee's Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation for 28 years. Dee was always warm and personable and took a genuine interest in her clients and their families, many of whom used her business for years.

Mrs. Reasoner is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Leon Reasoner Jr., and a brother, Ernest Newsom.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Leon Reasoner, children: Jesse Reasoner, Kay Carr, and Tommy Frost, sisters: Lois Hopkins, and Lyna Kay, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
