who ran a small airport in Manson. After graduating from Manson High School in 1961, he was employed with ABCO New Idea and began farming. For several decades he farmed, grew turkeys and raised his children. Jim also worked as a rural mail carrier giving 42 years 11 months of service to the US Post Office. Jim married Rita on October 11, 2014, with hopes to share their golden years together traveling and enjoying life. There wasn't much Jim did not have a passion for. JIM LIVED LIFE. He never met a stranger he could not visit with. He was a 'picker' before picking was cool. He was an avid fisherman, pilot, card player, truck puller, stock car racer, car collector, travel companion, seed salesman, snowmobile racer, remote control car racer, motorcyclist, Costco shopper, and hunter but most of all our brother, friend, uncle, grandpa, husband and father.
