Kristan J. Pettyjohn, 53, of Lovilia, IA, passed away Monday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Kris, a warehouse employee at Hy-Vee in Chariton, IA, is survived by his wife, Susan (Johnson) Pettyjohn; his two children: Nikolas Pettyjohn and his wife, Alexis, Hayley Pettyjohn; two grandchildren: Adalyn and Brodi; two step-children: Danny Johnson and Mark Seavey; his parents, Kenneth, Jr. (Ben) and Charlotte (Villont) Pettyjohn; his brother, Dennis Pettyjohn and his wife, Mary, all of Lovilia and a sister, Diana and Dennis De Moss of Knoxville, IA.

Funeral services will be held
Friday, August18, 2017 at 10:30 am
Williams Funeral Home, Knoxville, Iowa
Interment will follow in the Marysville Cemetery at Marysville, Iowa

Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville where the family will be present Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
