Martin W. Moran

Martin W. Moran, age 73, of Toms River, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Martin was born in Hackensack, raised in North Arlington and spent the majority of his life in Greenwood Lake, NY. For the past 14 years he resided in Toms River and was an active member of the American Legion Post 0129. He was a United States Army veteran and will be remembered for his humor and handyman services, willingness to do anything for family and friends and his contented outlook on life. He was predeceased by his parents August and Edith Moran. Surviving is his loving wife Carol "Dee" Moran; children Matthew Moran and his wife Cindy, Maria Kaplan and her husband Steve, Dustin McWilliams and John McWilliams; grandchildren Joshua McWilliams, Amanda and Vanessa Moran, Benjamin and Zack Kaplan. A memorial gathering honoring Martin's life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 6PM to 8PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
