Carly Ann Blevins was born March 6, 1978 in Oskaloosa to Bill and Diana (McDougall) Blevins. Her parents are William Blevins and stepmom Marcia Blevins, and Rev. Dennis and Diana Hopes. Her family also includes her two children Will and Laney and her two sisters Julie (David) McKenna and Jen (Jason) Wallace who will forever love and miss her. As a family, we will miss her laughter, her love for books, education, music. We looked forward with joy for her visits where we had deep conversations about her faith, her journey, and her struggles.

She valued and loved. her friends from throughout her life She completed high school at Martensdale St. Mary's class of 1996. During her high school years she played in the band, played volleyball, and worked at Norwalk grocery store. She then attended DMACC and transferred to the University of Iowa where she completed college in 2001 with a major in marketing.
