Surrounded by her loving family, Evelyn Bernice (Clark) Davidson, age 93, died peacefully at Marquette Manor in Indianapolis on August 26, 2017. She was born April 14, 1924 in Seafield, Indiana to the late Thomas and Rose (Brucker) Clark. She graduated in 1942 from Wolcott High School in Wolcott, Indiana. Evelyn married Robert C. Davidson on June 26, 1948. They spent the majority of their married life and raised their family in Goodland, Indiana before relocating to Indianapolis in 2004 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Evelyn spent most of her married life as a homemaker and loving mother to her five children. She was an active member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society in Goodland. She was a Eucharistic minister at the Catholic chapel at Marquette Manor in Indianapolis. She enjoyed practicing her faith, spending time with family and friends, baking, gardening, and crocheting. It was important to her that her children's friends felt welcome in her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davidson; her son-in-law, Fred Simic; her parents, and nine siblings: Cletus (Theresa) Clark, Ruth (Gene) Sigo, Linus (Hilda) Clark, Maurice (Martha) Clark, Paul (Luella) Clark, James (Lorraine) Clark, Robert (Dorothy) Clark, Mary Lucille (Ben) Davidson, and Francis (Peg) Clark. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. CST at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Goodland with the Rosary following at 10:30 a.m. and a Rite of Christian Burial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow immediately after mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Goodland. Friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon afterwards at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 421 S. Newton Street; Goodland, Indiana.
