Sue Williams

Sue A. Williams, 81, Muncie, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, August 26, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a two year battle with cancer. She was born June 13, 1936, in Anderson, the daughter of Clifford Earl and Lena May (Osborn) Smith. Sue graduated from Daleville High School. For many years she was a cosmetologist. She was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma and will be missed by all who knew her. Sue was a member of The Community Church. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, enjoyed shopping and her hobbies included collecting dolls. Survivors include her husband, Al Williams; children, Jama (husband Carl) Kissick, Dennis (wife Tari) Bruner and Penny (Williams) Kerschner; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and one granddaughter. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Adams officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum.
