ave were also married in 1969 in Farmington, MI. After completing a residency in Kettering Ohio, David, Karen and family spent 18 years in medical mission service in Taiwan, Singapore and China. From 2004 until present they have been living in Rochester, MN where David is a physician in the General Internal Medicine Division of Mayo Clinic. Karen was a beautiful Christian. She was blessed with an angelic voice. She loved living each day in the grace of Jesus and working in the Lords service.Karen was active in women's ministries within her local and regional Seventh-day Adventist churches.She was blessed with the gift of hospitality and always opened her heart and home to anyone who needed a comfortable bed or one of her wonderful home-cooked meals.Karen will always be remembered for her kind and sensitive spirit of friendship. Karen leaves friends who morn for her around the globe! She loved traveling world-wide and even during the last three years whenshe was receiving chemotherapy she continued to travel widely including making recent trips to China, Chile, Europe, Australia and New Zealand accumulating over 80,000 miles of air travel in a year. Karen will be dearly missed by family, friends, and church members alike.
