LARRY S. HANSON DIES. Larry Steven Hanson of Central Towers in Rochester, MN. died October 4, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Marys Campus in Rochester, of cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 67. Larry Hanson was born December 21, 1948 in Rochester, MN and lived his entire life here. On June 6, 1966, he graduated from John Marshall High School. He also attended college in Rochester for a short time majoring in business and also attended Daniel OBriens School of Cosmetology. Mr. Hansons careers expanded into many fields including hotels, motels, restaurants, dry-cleaning, sales, residential and commercial cleaning, telephone operator and sales for Northwestern Bell and did ironing out of his home. On July 3rd, 1987 he married Carol Jean Schroeck of Rochester and formerly of Estherville, Iowa. Carol died in 2009. Mr. Hanson had a love for all animals, most of all Keta, Simba, and Cooper, his constant companion dogs. He was an excellent sharp-shooter with rifle and bow and arrow.
