Eleanor M. Burkart

Eleanor M. Burkart 94 of Muhlenberg Township died Friday morning in the St. Josephs Medical Center.. Eleanor was the widow of Paul R. Burkart who died May 4, 1999 Mrs. Burkart was born in Reading, PA on March 13, 1919. She was the daughter of Roy and Verna Kirkley Eleanor had three children; Sandra L. Burkart of Muhlenberg Township; Dr. Sandy L. Burkart of Boca Raton, Florida; and Richard Burkart, who died in 2006. She had five grandchildren and six great grandchildren Two sisters, Mary Good and Dorothy Long, both proceed her in death. Eleanor graduated from Reading High School in the class of 1937. Mrs. Burkart was very devoted to her family and was a homemaker during her lifetime. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. There will be no funeral services.
