Sharon R. Rebholz

Sharon R. (Weitzel) Rebholz, 61, of Shillington, passed into the presence of the Lord in the evening hours of Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Born November 1, 1952 in Berks County, she was the daughter of Ruth E. (Seidel) Weitzel and the late Keith C. Weitzel. Sharon was a loving wife, caring mother, and ever-supportive grandmother. Known affectionately as Gigi to her four grandchildren whom she deeply loved and cherished, Sharon truly enjoyed life and shared her joy with everyone she met. A nurse by profession, Sharon was employed by Carim Eye & Retina Center in Wyomissing. She was a faithful attendee of Glad Tidings Assembly of God (Wyomissing, PA) and a beloved member of a very close-knit network of family and relatives. Sharon enjoyed weekends spent with her loving and committed husband of 42 years, Mark R. Rebholz, on the boat at Blue Marsh and the Chesapeake Bay, vacations and holidays with family, and fun times with friends. Also left behind are her four grandchildren: Gabriella, Noah, Owen and Quin; two nieces and two nephews: Lauren, Lindsay, Luke, and Erik; and, countless close family and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 29th at 7 p.m. at Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
