Dorothy J. Seyler

Dorothy J. Seyler, 87, of Sanatoga Ridge Retirement Villa, Pottstown and formerly of Laureldale died Thursday, December 3rd in Manor Care, Pottstown. She was the widow of Lester P. Seyler who died April 12, 2010. Born in Blainsport, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Weber) Kern. She was employed for 21 years as a cafeteria worker for the Muhlenberg Township School District retiring in 1990. She was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale and the Muhlenberg Township School Retirees Association. She is survived by 1 son, Gregory P. Seyler of Gilbertsville and 1 sister, Ruth widow of Irwin Grimes, a guest at Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville and 1 niece and 4 nephews. She will be greatly missed by her beloved dog Lucky. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert L. Kern. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Rd. Temple with the Rev. J. Ellen Mauger officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time.
