Helen I. (Lash) Ebersole 100 formerly of Temple died Thursday evening in the Manor Care, Laureldale. She was the widow of George D. Ebersole, who died June 22, 1982. Helen was born on September 4, 1915 in Muhlenberg Township. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Laura (Weber) Lash. Surviving is a brother, Robert Lash of Temple. Also, surviving is a niece and caregiver, Doris A. Wurster of Wyomissing. Helen was blessed to have additional nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews surviving. Helen was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers; Mary Miller, Florence Seaman, Mabel Einsel, Fern Lash, Harvey Lash, Earl Lash, and William Lash. Mrs. Ebersole retired as owner with her husband of the former Ebersole Coal Company of Reading. Previously she and her husband owned and operated the former Furlows Hotel in Knauers for four years. Helen began her career as a pretzel twister at Bachman Foods. Funeral services for Helen will be Friday at 10:30 A.M. from the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. Temple with the Reverend ????
