Constance "Connie" Eileen Dunne

Constance "Connie" Dunne, 75, of Keokuk, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Great River Home Health and Hospice, Burlington, Iowa. Connie was born on December 27, 1941, to Lowell and Mildred Kircher Londrie in Keokuk, Iowa. She was united in marriage to David Dunne in July, 1990. He preceded her in death in 2005. She lived most of her life in Keokuk. Connie was a member of First Lutheran Church and President of AARP for many years. She was very interested in politics and had met many political people including Hilary Clinton. She worked many years with Stan Waldron Easter Seals camp and at Head Start. She helped get books for the library. Connie is survived by three children: Sonya (Larry) Brown of Quincy, Illinois, Robine L. (Michael) Wrieden of Quincy, Illinois and Kenneth R. Sackman; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson; three sisters: Trudy (Kay) Pierce of Texas, Kathleen (Terry) Coffey of Ft. Madison, Iowa and Juanita (Thomas) Brower of Hamilton and her cousin and best friend Shirley Woods. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at DeJong - Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, Iowa directly before the service. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association.
