Maxine Blue Gonzales, 84, of Laurel, passed away on August 30, 2017, at South Central Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, at Florence Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Holder will officiate.
Mrs. Gonzales was a realtor prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Gonzales, Sr.; brother, William Blue; and sister, Faye Thornton.
Survivors include one step son, Frederick Gonzales, Jr. of Kenner, LA; brother, Michael Blue of the Calhoun community; two sisters, Marion Overstreet and Paula Kellye both of Laurel; one grandchild, Troy Gonzales; one great grandchild, Talon Gonzales; and numerous nieces and nephews.
