Craig Cassman

Craig M. Cassman, 56 of Rochester, MN died Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Houston County, MN in a motorcycle accident. Craig Michael Cassman was born February 7, 1961 to William and Carol (Otterness) Cassman in Mayville, ND. Craig graduated from Casselton High School in Casselton, ND. After graduation, he joined the Air Force, serving for 5 years. Craig studied Psychology at Moorhead State and Nursing at Jamestown College. Craig married Laurie Maurer in Fargo, ND on July 2, 1988. The couple moved to Rochester in 2000 where he worked as a nurse at Mayo Clinic Rochester - Methodist Campus. Craig was passionate about social justice and his family. He enjoyed sharing his adventures in motorcycling, photography, movies and local dining. Craig is survived by his wife, Laurie of Rochester, MN; three children, Amanda (Dennis) Gaynier of Berkey, OH, Bernice (Jeff) Finnesgard of San Diego, CA and Christian (Jordon Huisman) Cassman of Rochester, MN; two grandchildren, Zachary and Adrian; his mother, Carol Cassman of Moorhead, MN; siblings, Wayne (Kevin Larson) Cassman of Minneapolis, MN, Cheryl (Paul) Lehman of Fargo, ND and Jeff Cassman of Fargo, ND.
