Carol J. Cline

Carol J. Cline, 77, gained her angel wings on August 31, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church: 3300 Easton Blvd., Des Moines. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral service, also at the church. Carol was born at home in New Orleans on December 21, 1939, and was baptized at the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. She was stolen from the south when she met and married the love of her life, Jim. She remained proud of her southern roots and referred to herself as a 'Southern Belle.' Jim and Carol enjoyed traveling around the Midwestern states with their vizslas. Family was very important in her life, and she enjoyed following her grandchildren with their soccer. She was known to most of the soccer family as 'Gramma' and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
