Helen Elmendorf

Helen V. Elmendorf, age 70, of Beachwood died on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, she lived in Hillside before moving to Piscataway as a young girl. She lived in Woodbridge before moving to Toms River in 1971. She settled in Beachwood in 1981. Mrs. Elmendorf enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed ceramics and playing bingo. Prior to retiring in 1999, she worked as a Visiting Homemaker for many years, and later worked as a group home manager for AMIB, Toms River, for about ten years. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Victoria (Zach) Listwan, and two grandchildren, Jared Sculthorpe and Xander Evans, she is survived by her husband, William; her daughters, Lisa Stackpole and her husband Dennis of Brick, Michelle Ring and her husband Tim of Toms River, and Catherine Minneci and her husband Dominick of Whiting; her son Steven Evans of North Carolina; her brother, Edward Listwan and his wife Maryann of Edison; her sister, Victoria Listwan of Monroe; fourteen grandchildren, Justin, Scott, Kayleigh, Tylynn, Jenna, Ian, Tristan, Elyssa, McKenna, Desirae, Dominick III, Gabriella, Natali...[more]
