June Ann Higginbotham

Our beloved mother and friend, June Ann Higginbotham, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born September 23, 1939, in Council Bluffs, to Ralph L. Harmon, Sr. and Rosa E. (Bonham) Harmon. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1957, and met and married the love of her life, Frank E. Higginbotham, in 1962. From this union, seven children were born, which would keep June busy for the remainder of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and infant son. She is survived by her children, Michael (Traci) Higginbotham, Georganne (Dennis) Willey, Mark Higginbotham, Gabrielle (Michael) Garrean, Glennay (Scott) Jundt, Martin (Jessye) Higginbotham, and Geanine Higginbotham; sisters, Rita (Gene) Bertelsen, and Edna (Bob) Phillips; brother, Ralph L. (Barb) Harmon, Jr. She will also be greatly missed by her sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
