internship at the Doctors' Hospital in Columbus, OH in 1954-1955. He practiced family medicine in Amarillo from 1955-1960. Raymond performed his residency at Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine as a Radiologist in 1961-1963. While practicing, Raymond also served as Associate Professor of Radiology at both Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1968, Dr. Beck established the Residency Program at the Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital in Fort Worth, where he served as head of the Radiology Department from 1965, until his retirement.
Above and beyond his thriving career as a physician, Raymond was a man deeply loved, not only by his family but also by all those who knew him. Raymond's faith in the Lord was strong. He was a longtime member of Altamesa Church of Christ before moving to La Vernia, where he enjoyed the fellowship with their many friends at Grace Bible Church.
Survivors: Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Joyce; brother, Jerry (Dian) Beck; three children, Gregory (Cheryl) Beck; Sondra (Steve) Kemplin; and Brad (Melissa) Beck; 10 grandchildren, Kristy (Brian) Miller; Chad Beck; Kyle (Michelle) Beck; Valerie Kemplin; Caryn (Brock) Emmons; Amalia Kemplin; Alexandria, Travis, Parker, and Ryan Beck; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ben Kemplin; Jacob Miller; and Ava Beck.
