Harris A. Van Essen, 64, of Tracy, IA, passed away September 7, 2017 in Knoxville, IA. After 36 years of employment at 3M, Harris retired in 2015. Harris is survived by his wife, June Van Essen; their four children: Tammy Burk of Lovilia, IA, Darcy (Mike) Swagart of Dansville, MI, Sheila Van Essen (Jeremiah Beaver) of Pershing, IA, Scott (Jodie) Van Essen of Bussey, IA; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild due in September, and siblings: Larry (Jacque) Van Essen, Lorraine (John) Phillips, Loren (Susan) Van Essen, Aleatha (John) Huff, Ron (Twyla) Van Essen, Stan (Kris) Van Essen, and Cindy (Keith) Luko.

Funeral services will be held
Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 10:00 am
Williams Funeral Home, Knoxville, Iowa
Interment will follow in the Bellefountaine Cemetery at Tracy, Iowa

Visitation will begin Monday afternoon at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville where the family will be present from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
