Mrs. Marjorie "Dollie" Plowman, age 89, of Grand Haven passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at Grand Pines Assisted Living. She was born May 19, 1928 in Chicago to Paul and Isabella (Heuel) Liesen. On October 7, 1950 she married Jack Plowman and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1993.

Dollie was a member of St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, helped on funeral lunches, belonged to bible studies and taught christian doctrine. She volunteered her time to many organizations in Grand Haven and Sumter, South Carolina. She worked with Meals on Wheels, Cheap Stacks at the Grand Haven Library, Tri-Cities Historical Museum and many reading programs for children. She retired from NBD Bank. Dollie loved her family and was so proud of each and every one of them.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Vircelle Ambler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Charles Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, September 15, 2017 at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave) and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in Lakeshore Cemetery.
