James Wyrick

James Elwood Wyrick "Jim", age 81, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2017. James was born to the late Ray and Lena (Reba) Wyrick in Jackson County, Kentucky on March 15, 1936 and spent most of his life in Hamilton, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Faye Wyrick, children Rose (David) Fowler (Wyrick), James Dean (Michelle) Wyrick, David Wyrick and Amy Wyrick; grandchildren Jacob Fowler, Rebecca (Fowler) Matlock, Jimmy Wyrick, and step grandchildren Brandi Mcnamee and Destiney Wright; sisters Mary Everhart and Sandra Williams and many other family and friends. James was preceded in death by his brothers Lelan Wyrick and Troy Wyrick. He proudly served in The United States Air Force. James made many friends while working at Western Southern Life and later as owner of East Hamilton Auto Parts. He loved cars, especially antiques, loved telling stories and making people laugh. A visitation will be held at Ivey Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 4pm-6pm with a funeral service to follow at 6pm.
