James Neal Haman

Jim Haman, 70, of Stratford, died Friday, September 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stratford Lutheran Church with Pastor Joe Lambert officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the church. James Neal Haman, son of William and Minnie Weers Haman, was born May 30, 1947 in Webster City. He attended Stratford Schools. He completed Auctioneer School in 1978. Jim married Margo Dee Angle on December 8, 1984 in Stratford. He had been employed with Hamilton County Secondary Roads since 1984 and was the owner of Haman Auction since 1978. Jim is survived by his wife, Margo of Stratford; children, Aftin Haman of Stratford, Dane (Melody) Haman of Webster City, Chase Haman of Stratford, Brenda (Raymond) Carlson of Stratford, Corrie (Melissa) Haman of Gowrie; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ed "Sonny" (Cheryl) Haman of Stratford, Gene Haman of Jefferson; sister, Diane (Kerry) Hanlon of Paton; mother-in-law, Catherine Angstrom of Stratford and many extended family.
