Gertrude DeLaPaz, 90, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017.

Memorial Service: 11 am Friday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home.

Trudy was born on April 19, 1927 in Esperanza, Texas to Felipe and Dolores Galindo. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Trudy loved music, flowers, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Trudy was preceded in death by her husband, Mike DeLaPaz.

Survivors: Son, Michael DeLaPaz and wife Lori; grandchildren, Michael DeLaPaz, Jr., and Erika Lopez and husband Daniel; great granddaughter, Abby Lopez; sisters, Hopie Vasquez, Lydia Martinez, Beatrice Mata and Sarah King; brother, George Galindo; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
